在日外国人ケア労働者が就労する介護施設で、彼らと共に働く日本人スタッフを対象に、「異文化間ケア教育」の一貫としてパンフレットを作成して配布した。本研究の目的は、パンフレットの理解と職場環境との関連性を検証し、協働への関わりや認識の把握から、「協働文化」構築への展望を見出すことである。Web でアンケート調査を行ったところ、パンフレットへの理解度が高いことが分かった。上司のサポートが得られやすい職場と外国人受け入れ制度の理解の高さ、そして同僚のサポートが得られやすい職場と外国人の適応や支援の理解、問題の理解度の高さの間に、肯定的な関連が見いだされた。協働に関する意見を求めたところ、【外国人の日本人や日本文化への理解】の教育へのニーズや、外国人と働く際の【言葉の壁と成長】の認識などのカテゴリーが抽出された。平素のサポートが高い職場や、教育への意識、外国人への関わりを肯定的に捉える職場では、「異文化間ケア教育」はより効果的であり、日本とのケアの文化差や価値観の理解が促され「協働文化」の構築の進展が期待される。キーワード: 在日外国人ケア労働者、日本人スタッフ、協働文化、異文化間ケア教育、異文化適応 |

A pamphlet was created and distributed as part of the “cross-cultural care education” to Japanese staff working with foreign care workers in nursing homes. This study aimed to examine the relationship between the understanding levels of the pamphlet and the work environment, towards a “culture of collaboration” by understanding the staff ’s involvement in and perception of collaboration. This was also followed by a web-based survey. The results indicated a high level of understanding of the brochure among the participants. Positive associations were found between workplaces where supervisors are more likely to provide support and a higher level of understanding of systems for accepting foreigners, as well as between workplaces where coworkers are supportive and a better understanding of adaptation and support for foreigners and their problems. In terms of opinions on collaboration, the categories of “foreigners’ understanding of Japanese people and culture” and working with foreigners’ “language barriers and growth” were found to be essential for the workplace. In workplaces with high levels of support, awareness of education, and positive view of involvement with foreigners, “cross-cultural care education” was found to be effective in promoting an understanding of cultural differences in care and values and fostering a “culture of collaboration.” |
