| 内容記述 | 平成期(1989-2019)の「ヘンゼルとグレーテル」の邦訳は現在106 話確認している。それらを分析すると、収録されている形態に変化が生じていることが判明する。昭和期には児童向け雑誌に多く収録されていたものが、平成期には雑誌での収録は激減し、読み聞かせ物語集への収録が増える。そこでは話が短縮され、子どもたちが鴨（家鴨）に救助される場面では、グレーテルの的確な判断を示す言葉が削除されている。女の子の賢さが描かれていないのである。一方、話は短縮されても「お菓子の家」は昭和期よりも華やかに描かれ強調されている。あたかもこの話は「お菓子の家」の話であるかのように、視覚的表現で読者に印象づけているのである。また原典では子どもたちが帰宅したとき母親は死亡しているが、平成期には「家出する」「実家に戻る」「父親に追い出される」という表現が出現する。子どもと両親との関係だけでなく、夫婦の在り方が児童書の中に組み入れられているのである。さらにパロディ版も出現する。平成期は昭和期からの読書推進活動が実を結んだ時代である。さまざまな方法で読書への興味を持たせようとしたことが読み取れる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In the Heisei era (1989-2019), there are currently 106 Japanese translations of Hansel and Gretel. The form in which they are recorded has changed. In the Showa era, many were included in children's magazines. However, in the Heisei era, this number declined sharply and those included in read-aloud story collections increased. In such collections, these are shortened and, in the scene where the children are rescued by the duck, the words that indicate Gretel's precise judgement are deleted; her cleverness is not depicted. Although the story is shortened, the ‘House of Sweets’ is depicted more glamorously and emphasised than in the Showa era. The visual representation impresses the reader, redirecting the focus, as if the story is about a ‘House of Sweets’. In the original story, the mother dies when the children return home, but in the Heisei era, other expressions, including ‘running away from home’, ‘returning to the family home’, and ‘being kicked out by the father’ appear. Both the relationship between the children and their parents and the existence of married couples are incorporated into children’s books. Parody versions have also appeared. In the Heisei era, reading promotion activities from the Showa era have developed. Various methods have been employed to try to create or raise interest in reading. | |||||
