During the 2020~21 academic school year in Japan, Loom was used to complement asynchronous online classes that were held in response to the global pandemic. Videos were created by the instructor of four English Communication classes (n=101) to further explain, give examples, and reinforce instructions for online activities that had been uploaded to the institution’s LMS or involved other online tools.
