 note = {application/pdf, この論文の目的は、平成期(1989-2019)に日本で出版された110話の「赤ずきん」を精査し、内容を分析することによって改変点を明らかにし、そこから平成期の子ども教育観、ジェンダー観などを読み取ることである。平成期に出版された「赤ずきん」は、グリム版の原典に忠実なものが多いが、同時に自由に書き換えたパロディー調のものも目立つ。注目すべきは赤ずきんと祖母が結託して狼を石桶で溺死させる後日談を紹介する絵本や、救出者が母親に変わる絵本が出現することである。フライパンで狼を殴り殺す勇敢な母親が登場するのである。これらの絵本は、「強い男に守られる弱い女」という近代のジェンダー観を刷り込む役割を果たしていない点で注目に値する。一方、狼の腹を縫うのは、男の狩人から女性の祖母や娘の仕事にすり替えられていく。獣の皮を縫うという猟師の仕事が、裁縫という家事労働に置き換えられ、女の仕事に読み替えられたのである。ここでは家のなかでする仕事は家事であり、女の仕事であるというジェンダー観が刷り込まれている。「悪なる存在」ではなく、赤ずきんと友達になりたい「善なる存在」の狼が登場し、「狼＝悪」という偏見を捨てるよう説くパロディー版が出現する。教育上「人権尊重」と「警戒心」のいずれを優先すべきか、という問題が提起されているのである。, This paper analyzed elements that were changed in “Little Red Riding Hood” in 110 Japanese translations published during the Heisei era (1989-2019), and to consider those changes from the perspectives of childhood education and gender. Most books published during this period were faithful to the original text, but parody versions also appeared. The most remarkable change was the introduction of the second story, in which two women (grandmother and grandchild) worked together to drown the wolf in a stone tub. Another change was the appearance of the brave mother who came to the rescue, beating the wolf’s head with a frying pan and killing him. Such changes provided an important message from a gender perspective: instead of the idea that “a weak woman should be protected by a strong man,” there was the notion that “a clever woman can overcome a bad wolf without a man’s help.” However, the person who sewed up the wolf’s stomach was changed from the hunter to the grandmother. Sewing up the beast, essentially the work of a hunter and considered men’s work, was replaced with needlework, and thus became women’s work. The fixed gender roles of men and women of the modern time were thus apparent in such books. One enlightened change was the appearance of a good wolf. The good wolf approached the girl to become friends rather than to eat her. There are good wolves and bad wolves in the world; a child should not therefore be prejudiced to all wolves. We should consider what is more important; political correctness or alertness to strangers?},
