By reviewing the current situation of human-rights education, it was found that the understanding of active seniors is missing from the learning contents regarding seniors at school. This paper reports the summary of the findings from the study of 537 seniors between 58 and 100 years of age (229 male and 308 female; average age: 71.6) to obtain the basic data necessary to promote the multidimensional understanding of active seniors.
